Every team - even the best ones - face team issues. When they emerge, team leaders often face stakeholder management. Their primary concern is ensuring the issue is resolved effectively with those directly involved. At the same time, they can't neglect those on the periphery who are also affected. In this session, we will explore a team leadership approach for getting a handle on inevitable team issues and eliminating unnecessary shock waves.
After this meeting you will be able to:
- Establish a team mini-crisis list with common examples
- Define what effective team leadership looks like before, during and after a mini-crisis
- Self assess participants' before, during and after routines and behaviors
- Identify 1-2 opportunities to strengthen their team's mini-crisis readiness and effectiveness
